Aun Ali is a trauma-informed therapist, clinical supervisor, and the Founder & CEO of Trauma Release & Wellness Centre. He has been working in the fields of trauma, addiction, and nervous-system-based recovery for over eight years, with a strong focus on ethical care, regulation-first practice, and culture change within mental health spaces. Aun’s work is informed by both professional training and lived experience. Diagnosed with dyslexia at an early age, he faced educational and self-esteem challenges and later navigated his own journey of addiction recovery. These experiences shape his clinical approach—grounded, non-pathologising, and centred on dignity, responsibility, and safety.

He is an Internationally Certified Addiction Professional (ICAP-1) recognised under UNODC standards and a Clinically Certified Trauma Specialist (Individuals, Families, and Addiction). Since 2021, he has been affiliated with the Arizona Trauma Institute, aligning his work with international trauma-informed frameworks and supervision standards.
Aun is also a globally certified TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises) Professional and among the first to introduce structured TRE practice in Pakistan, working alongside international trainers to bring body-based and Polyvagal-informed approaches into local clinical practice.
In 2020, he founded Trauma Release & Wellness Centre—one of the first trauma- and addiction-focused recovery centres in Pakistan—with the intention of shifting the language, culture, and standards of mental health care. Alongside therapy, his work includes training, supervision, organisational consulting, and developing systems that support sustainable, trauma-informed practice.
Today, Aun continues to build trauma-informed therapy and clinical leadership across regions, guided by the belief that meaningful healing begins with safety, regulation, and ethical responsibility.
